Tadpoles
Tadpoles is the Bonzo Dog Band’s third album. It is largely a compilation of their work from the television show Do Not Adjust Your Set, on which they were the house band. Track 6, “I’m the Urban Spaceman,” was produced by
“Paul McCartney” (William) and Gus Dudgeon produced “I’m the Urban Spaceman” (Track 6) under the pseudonym “Apollo C. Vermouth.” This is an example of William promoting himself by means of filling multiple roles.
In 2007 the album was reissued on CD with its original title and artwork, by EMI with five bonus tracks.
